Independent Study

In order to register for Independent Study, student must be a junior or senior BFA major with a 3.0 or greater GPA in their major. Student must also receive approval by his/her advisor, and make arrangements with a faculty mentor in order for registration to occur. Once approval is obtained, a “Registration Change Request Form” is then to be obtained from student’s UIS and brought to the Department Chair with a copy of this completed form, and project proposal as specified below.
